Last year, an inner debate beheld me on what path I wished to take-continue on with Windows Mobile on the HTC HD2, or start anew with Android on the Nexus One. Wanting to behold the familiar experience of Windows Mobile on a super device, I chose the HD2, and I'm proud to say I did.

It's been under a year since its USA launch, and the device is still kicking-running the latest version of Android Gingerbread, tinkering with MeeGo, booting up Ubuntu and Windows 95, and now recently, Windows Phone 7. The device sees no rival in what it does, and even at its matured age, contends powerfully against other major platforms. Be it the huge 4.3" screen, the fully array of sensors, or the powerful QSD8250 processor, the HD2, in my opinion, is the greatest phone on Earth, even after a year.

To all the developers who make this device capable of what it does, we thank you greatly, and hope to see the device excel further as time passes.

To those with an HD2, you know what I mean, and to those without one, consider it a worth-while purchase in your future. The HD2 runs almost every operating system, and does what you command it-call it a slave, or a close friend, the HD2 is here to stay.
