Samsung Omnia 7 Teardown photos - Windows Phone Hacker
Samsung Omnia 7 Teardown photos

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Pictured above is a Samsung Omnia 7 in it's purest form, that is, without the casing. Call it obsession, but rare is the day you get to see the insides of 10mm of pure power. The Samsung Omnia 7 is credited for its lightning fast speeds and deep contrasting S-AMOLED screen, making this one of the best Windows Phone 7 devices yet.

The interesting thing about this device is its lack of microSD expansion. Rather, a giant NAND module is seen soldered on behind the screen:

Also seen in the above shot is a full-on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8250, bringing the device its lightning fast 1ghz speeds.

Now, it is Windows Phone 7, meaning no file system access, and thus microSD's are only used for expansion of the built-in memory. Still, it would be nice to see some Windows Mobile love with a device like this, however unlikely that may be.

Thanks to everyone who sent this in!
