Thanks to XDA Developers user Football, an official ROM update for the T-Mobile USA HTC HD2 has been released. As far as we can tell from the thread, not much has been changed besides driver updates, but if you're getting tired of your cooked roms crashing on you, this may be the way to go.
While custom roms are usually a lot faster, they are also known to have some stability issues. However, if you, like us, are a fan of cooked roms, this is still good news. The updated drivers inside this ROM will eventually end up being cooked into custom roms, keeping the fast lane up-to-date.
The users are also reporting that certain Android builds are working great on it (others not so much), so if you're looking for a complete revamp, check out our video on how to install Android 2.2 on your HD2.
You can get it in the thread here.
