Leaks confirm Verizon not participating in Windows Phone 7 launch

Posted on 08-19-10

Verizon has been focusing on Android a lot lately, and now rumors spark that Verizon will be Apple's next partner for the iPhone. Regardless, recent leaks from PhoneArena are showing lots of Android, some BlackBerries, and a few tablets, but no Windows Phone 7. This is disappointing, as Verizon was initially said to be a launch partner at the MWC announcement. Of course, Verizon could get WP7 later on in 2011, but don't hold your breath.

However, if you're running AT&T, things could be looking good for you.
