If you've been using the Windows Phone 7 Series device emulator, you've probably noticed that the only thing that works is Internet Explorer, and custom apps.

Now, thanks to Dan Ardelean, the ROM has been unlocked. To unlock your device emulator, follow these steps:

1) Download the unlocked ROM from [a=http://www.megaupload.com/?d=48ZGGA5Sendurl]here[/a] ([a=https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5922577&postcount=295endurl]mirror[/a])

2) Extract the file

3) Rename WM70Full.bin to WM70C1.bin

4) Copy to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\WindowsPhone\v7.0\Emulation\Images, replacing the old file (Might want to backup the old file)

5) Run the emulator.

*Hint: If you don't want to use the IDE to run the emulator, make a shortcut to: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft XDE\1.0\XDE.exe" Files\Microsoft XDE\1.0\xde.exe C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\WindowsPhone\v7.0\Emulation\Images\WM70C1.bin
