Finally, the moment we all have been waiting for. XDA-Developers user 911sniper

has posted a Windows Phone 7 ROM from a device known as "HTC Mondrian", an upcoming WP7 device. NBHWM7AKU6176WWEforHTCMONDRIAN Model: HTC Mondrian (Cingular USA) AKU: WindowsMobile7AKU6176 Language: 0409_WWE

Happy cooking! [a=https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=681659endurl]-911sniper[/a] This is the first step in getting Windows Phone 7 onto current devices, such as the HD2. However, there is still a lot of work to be done, as current tools will not support this ROM. Attempting to flash right now, in fact, will brick your phone: In Laymans terms, at the moment there is a ROM but using the existing tools will not extract the contents so cooks go in and change parts of it before compiling/glueing it back together again. See at it as some sort of new Zip format we can't open or make yet. I hope this is is simple enough for now. [a=https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6486233&postcount=65endurl]-Noonski[/a] If you want to see how it is progressing, head over to the [a=https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=681659end_url]thread.[/a] Be forewarned, though, that this is hardly a done job. You will not be able to simply download the file and flash it to your HD2. Good job, devs!
