Tutorial: How to install Ubuntu 0.3 on your HTC HD2 (Video)
Posted on 12-31-10 12:00 am

Welcome to our video tutorial on how to install Ubuntu 0.3 on your HTC HD2. This will not work on any device other than the HTC HD2 (T-Mobile or European).

1. Download Ubuntu 0.3 from XDA Developers

2. Extract the archive.

3. Connect your device, and copy the "linux" folder to the root of your storage card, eg \Storage Card\linux

4. Disconnect your device, and run \Storage Card\linux\haret-pre-0.5.3-20100629_092009-QSD8250-ONLY.exe

5. Wait patiently. If the process takes more than 15 minutes, pull the battery and try again.

Done! Play around, enable WiFi, and enjoy the new functionality of your HD2.

Big thanks to the developers! Read more here.
