As we've done in the past, here's a little look at something on the drawing board. There are a lot of personal projects we work on for kicks, and a select few of them are considered good enough for public consumption. Here's one that we thought was nice, but want to know what other people think. If there's demand for it, we'll fabricate it into a fully working, customizable app. If not, at least I'll find it personally helpful.

Above is a snapshot of the app. We're not sure what we're calling it, but probably something like "lock widgets" or the like. What it does is allows data to be updated on the lock screen, for example, weather. This could also be RSS feeds, images, etc. One idea was to change the background dynamically to fit the Bing background of the day automatically. If there's interest for it, let us know in the comments, and be sure to give some ideas on what it could be used for.
