Piecing together the HD2 and Windows Mobile 7

I've been thinking a bit regarding the HD2 and Windows Mobile 7. Suddenly, something seemed to occur to me. The HD2 is the only capacitive, multi touch Windows Mobile phone on the market today. Also, the HD2 is a beast compared to other devices. Thinking a little, I got an idea. Since Windows Mobile 7 was supposed to be released by the end of 2009, and the HD2 was released in 2009, does that mean the HD2 was designed specifically for Windows Mobile 7? Here's further evidence. The HD2 obviously took a long time to design. Windows Mobile 6.5 (which it was released with) could have easily been created in a few monthes, maybe less (not that much is different, really). Thus, chances are that 6.5 was put on the HD2 to hold off until 7, right? More solid evidence now. The HD2 released for Europe has RAM [a=http://pocketnow.com/software-1/more-proof-the-htc-hd2-has-576mb-of-ram#commentsend_url]locked away[/a], and the US version has it already in. Curious, as the US HD2 is being released in March, supposedly one month after Windows Mobile 7 is to be shown. There's more evidence, but it's information that was directed to me and me only, sorry. We'll have to see at MWC.
