Last week, we saw a great deal of new Mango features revealed over the Windows Phone Dev Podcast. This week, they have more to share, all of which will be making Mango more and more desirable. Here's the rundown:
Facebook Chat and Windows Live Messenger Integration, right into Messaging:
As seen in the screenshot below, Facebook Chat and Windows Live Messenger will be tightly integrated into the Messaging hub. They also note that AIM will also be supported.
Group Contacts/Group SMS
Another useful feature, Mango will allow the users to create group contacts and send texts/emails to the whole group at once:
Games Hub revamped
As spotted at MIX'11, the Games hub has been completely redesigned, making the experience much cleaner:
Office 365/SkyDrive integration
Office 365 and SkyDrive will also be integrated into the Office hub, as seen below:
Lock Screen with Now Playing
As a bit of a random improvement, the lock screen now supports displaying artist art when the device is locked:
