Posted on 09-26-10 07:00 pm

Welcome back to our weekly entry, filling you in on all the latest Windows Phone 7 news. Fasten your seatbelts and get ready, we have a lot to cover.

Monday

The HTC Mozart specifications got leaked:

  • 1GHz Qualcomm QSD 8250
  • 512 MB ROM
  • 8GB storage
  • 576 MB RAM
  • 3.7-inch WVGA SLCD screen
  • 8MP CMOS camera
  • 1300 mAh battery

Pretty much the same as the Windows Mobile based HD2, but with less storage (remember, Windows Phone 7 does not support removable storage.)

Tuesday

The HTC regional director confirmed the Windows Phone 7 launch for "next month". We'll get back to this one.

  • Device images of the 7 Trophy were leaked, revealing something much different than the original Trophy Windows Mobile device, which never made it to the market:

Wednesday

Today things got a little crazy. First, the HD7 schematics got revealed. Next, the HD7 specifications were leaked with a rendering of the device:

"1ghz processor, 5mp camera with dual led flash, 720p video recording, and 8gb of storage."

But just as we began to absorb that tidbit of news, real live snapshots got leaked.

The device looks a lot like the HD2, save for the capacitive buttons on the bottom.

Thursday

And just after the HD7 snapshots were leaked, WMPU got their hands on the specifications, confirming the device for T-Mobile USA:

The 7 Mozart also passed through the Global Certification Forum, but we didn't learn anything new from this:

And to finish up Thursday, Windows Phone 7 was confirmed to have tethering, which has since been denied. We'll see on this one.

Friday

To wrap the week up, 7 Trophy specifications were leaked, again thanks to WMPU:

And the LG Optimus 7 was seen in a 20-minute review video:

And to finish the week off, Windows Phone 7 AT&T commercials were leaked:

...Anddddd that's what happened last week, regarding Windows Phone 7. Stay tuned for more news, or follow WindowsPhone7Central.
